Ohio Valley Electrical Services was excited to be part of the team with Messer Construction and MSA Architects on the development of Xavier University and TriHealth Health United Building on Xavier’s campus to house a fitness center, a health care facility and academic space. The four-story, 160,000-square-foot building went up on land between Montgomery Road to the east and the Cintas Center to the west. Inside, the center features a pool, fitness studios, basketball courts, a café, 10 health-center examination rooms, 7 counseling offices, a pharmacy, 11 classrooms, 5 nursing simulation laboratories, 3 skills labs, 3 occupational therapy labs and 2 sports-studies labs.
The Health United Building (HUB) will help provide a health-conscious experience for college students, by having classrooms for health-related academic programs, a new state-of-the-art fitness and recreation center & a new health and wellness space that will provide expert care for students, faculty and staff.
